Yerrinbool Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade

Yerrinbool Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade is part of the NSW Rural Fire Service and provides a response to fires and other emergencies within the Village of Yerrinbool and further afield when required.

Brigade members meet regularly at the fire station on Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm to 9.30pm and undertake regular weekly training and maintenance to ensure the highest standard of proficiency in fire fighting skills.
Our members have training ranging from bush and grass fire fighting, village fire fighting, breathing apparatus, advanced fire fighting and crew leading.
The brigade attends incidents ranging from bushfires, grassfires, structural fires, motor vehicle accidents, motor vehicle fires, railway incidents, storm damage and any other incident that may require the attendance of a fire brigade.

Have you ever thought of becoming a fire fighter?

Depending on your personal circumstances this can be as much time or as little time as you can manage. Naturally the more you are involved the more your skills and knowledge will develop.
Everyone is welcome, junior members can join from the age of 14.

For more information drop by the Yerrinbool Fire Station on Wednesday nights.
